當這些我們常看的卡通變成了公仔或玩具之後，讓原先對於卡通的情感有了轉移，這種粉絲心裡觸發了藝術家創作的靈感，電影中一些擬人化的怪形英雄，在Miguel Vasquez 手裡有了趣味的轉化，看起來似曾相似又不是完全一樣，而這些轉換更增添了藝術家所加諸的嘲諷語彙於其中，也讓這些公仔作品更具藝術性。本次展出《Humanoid Sea Friends Set》是真人版海綿寶寶和派大星創作。
