Yosuke Ueno
Yosuke Ueno is an emerging Japanese artist whose paintings embody an innocent, romantic style of his own. He uses extensively the colors red, green, yellow and blue, which represent the four nitrogenous bases that make up the DNA structure and express the spirit of equality, love, space and positive energy.

《Cont n roller》、《bokulla》
On view in this exhibition are Ueno's Cont "n" Roller and Bokulla, created through his collaboration with the toy brand VTSS. The former combines the images of Nintendo's iconic video game console and Mickey Mouse, blending Japanese style with Western culture. The latter is a character that Ueno has created in an earlier stage of his career, which is an adorable monster that has a human face and is a destroyer of everything on the planet. There is also a cute little plane as an accessory in Bokulla.
